For my rpg map many of u may have seen... Urban Rpg .. I'm also starting another one called Forbidden Castle Rpg .. anyway .. that isn't my point.
My problem is.. I placed bridges and ramps (inproperly) over water .. then i saved then closed the window. Then what happened is when i opened them again with starforge or Scmdraft they're gone! But other inproperly placed doodads are still there! Can someone help me?
How do you place them improperly over water? Are you using that undo redo undo redo or w/e method? I would suggest useing the cutom palette in starforge to create bridges by hand.
If you use the ctrl+z and ctrl+y way, it has to be your final time. If you open it again on any editor (I think) it will get removed.
i had a problem that was kinda the same, but also kinda the complete opposite:
i put doodads in from SCXE (trees ramps and stuff), modify the triggers with SF, then go back to SCXE, and the trees are now only stumps, while the ramps and other doodads like statues got kinda blended in with the terrain, so i couldn't select them by going to the Doodad layer anymore... however if i used a different terrain over these doodads, they still can get deleted...
Just place sprites and terrain in Starforge. I don't see how ramps can get deleted though... that's pure terrain.
will the new starforge be able to keep the sprites form the doodads? so that they dont disapear?
There's a new Starforge being released? I though it was abandoned...
Heimdal hasn't compleatly abbandoned SF
If you want to remake all the doodads that SF killed open the map on SCMD2 and resave it.
Really? So he's still working on it? Sweet. Despite the bugs, I really like SF.
