I've tried different sized maps instead of the usual 64, 96, 128, 192, and 256 measurements, and they have all crashed. Before this new patch, I had a 32x32 map I was working on that didn't crash when I played it. I just went to play it with the new patch, and of course it crashed. So basically what I'm asking is: Did this new patch do it, or did I get lucky with that particular map? Also, has anyone here got a working map size other than the ones mentioned above?

As long as one of the map dimensions is a standard size, the other one can be pretty much anything under 256. For example, you could have a map that is 32x64, or 64x32 and it would be perfectly fine.

I both map dimensions are non-standard sizes then you'll have to play another map first. For example if you make a map that is 32x32 and you start up starcraft and play it without playing another map first, you crash.
