Psssh... One time I shut my computer off and got 0.73
53.00
ADD: Why does it put .00 at the end...
I'm running 75 NUBS!!!!!!!!!!
My bro is logged on, I usually get like 30ish.
64? Highest I've ever had. If you're running too many than your computer is likely to run slowly and there's a higher liklihood that one of the processes running is going to crash stuff. I usually try to keep it down around 30.
I got 40 running... most are duplicates... wtf?
If you have anything over thirty, here's an equation to find out how many viruses you have:
(Total - 15) / 2 = # of Viruses
..no..? It's called running background programs..
I have 40, but this is my brothers account, he runs a bunch of crap. But mine is probably balanced out, I run stuff like CursorXP and Windowblinds.. a bunch of drivers, SC, bot, Opera.. XD
I have 44, but that's because SVCHost is extra-female dogy on my comp, plus I'm running one background program, and an apache server.
45, 7 of which are scvhost. What does that do anyways if it needs to be run 7 times.

Are you using TinyXP?
I'm sure if I wanted no drivers I could lower mine down to that
They say your computer can run right with only 3 or 4 processes running, these are mandetory ones that keep windows and your computer running properly, end these tasks and you domputer wil crash, not work, or shut down.
I have 68 process, but I have firefox, gimp, aol, x-tra, microsoft word, and background files open. Computer usage jumps between 0% - 2% and when I move mouse around a lot jumps to 5% with all these processes running, im not too worried, hehe!
If you go into the Start Menu, go to run program, and type regedit and hit enter you can get into your computers registry. From there if you navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run you can see the list of programs that runs when your computer starts. If you have a virus protection program that might account for 2-4 of the processes in there, but other than that, everything else is trash that runs in the background gobbling up your computers processing power. Most people have like 30-40 things in there, 95% of which can be removed.

Even with all that stuff open.. that's like 20 viruses right there.

It actually only needs to be run four times.. at most two more depending on what kind of services you have enabled. At least one of those is a virus I bet.
Uhh, you can run 68 processes without having 20 viruses, just so you know.
And just go Run-> Msconfig
I'm running 56 right now, including 2 IE windows, iTunes and and Virtual Villagers open.
