I made a memgraft patch that allows the nexus and supply depot to load units and cloak. The cloaking doesn't work but i'm not really concerned about that. I edited that .dat files and everything. The nexus has a load button but cannot load protoss units, however it can load terran units (i mind controlled and SCV to test this) and the supply depot has the same affliction that it can load terran but not protoss units. The game doesn't crash, it just refuses to load the protoss units. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
I've never really heard of anything like this happening before, but maybe building loading is hardcoded to terran units?
I hadn't really thought about that, but you may be right because the Terran are the only race that have a building capable of loading units. Maybe that has something to do with it?
just change race of each protoss unit to Terran race in units.dat
that's doesn't matter even though that going to be terran race
anyhow players could play with toss's units if did set buttons for creating unit
but if that loading funtion is under control by Unit ID adress, then that should might
hardcoded

Well...That allows it to load them, but now all the "protoss" units take up terran supply, so i can't build anything without it telling me "Build more supply depots" which the probes is not cabable of.

then change pylon to terran
so i say that u'd should change toss to terran which units and buildings of race
if u want make allow load into buildings for toss
That's probably too much work for one simple change, and it would cause even more problems in the long run.

Hmm isnt that a building though so can't that interfere with things. Or why not change the unit to a shuttle maybe that could. Well thats what I think.
Another thing you might try is unchecking the building flag and checking flyer in unit.dat's advanced tab,
though this would probably get the right effect, it might have some effects such as spells being able to target it and such.
Also, I don't think it's possible to cloak it. I've tried. Someone--it was either Terrainfigther or DoA--told me that optional cloaking is hardcoded to certain units. The Nexus, unfortunately, is not one of these units.
