Wow I never knew "walk-able null" existed, by the way can buildings only be placed there in editors or can you actually build in game on it?

You can create buildings on it with triggers, and units can walk on it with a little work. You have to use a Nydus to get them on it, usually. Or you can make a small walkable space with too many units and some will be pushed off onto the null terrain.

Hmmmm....
I might be using hhis "walk-able null" for my upcoming Parallel Rifts RPG. It would look cool as the third universe where everything is warped.

Nozomu, you can create men on the creep nulls tiles, with triggers. You can also drop them onto it with a dropship.

I've done plenty of research on that when I found P70. It actually creates Null Terrain. Go into my player research (sig) and look at the screenshots for Player 70, I added in some details and notes on them.

I skimmed it. I'm not too into all of these technical tricks. I prefer to work with triggers. It's the problem-solving and critical thinking that I really enjoy. That's not to say that I don't stay current, of course.

Of course, I agree but you can't deny that that info isn't usefull. Most tricks are just for show some of that info is usefull. Like saying some of the null tiles block vision. You could do some really neat things with that.

Well yea, the null tiles in most of the sets are basically in all properties the same as the terrain around them in the first little bit (except units don't want to walk on them) In terrains like ice though, you can use the "high water" null terrain as a blockade and be assured nothing will build on it.
I think creep will spread on any null tile that's in one of the terrains that's usually buildable, not quite sure though.

Thats almost exactly what the link says Stereo (except alot more detailed)

If you want to know what exactly properties a tile have get TileEdit or SCMD2 (SCMD2 shows the tiles that are buildable when you place a building and the ones that are walkeable when you place a unit).
