How do you think, who will win: marine or lurker?

add a bit more information...but either way lurker will win even with detectors or not.

Yea lurk wins no matter.

Actually, it depends. Is the person who controls the lurker stupid enough to unburrow and give chase to the runnning marine? Is the one who controls the marine stupid enough to keep walking through? If the Zerg player is stupid and unburrows to follow, the marine can dart in, get a few shots and run when it is burrowing.

Marine can see lurker. Lurker controlled by computer and marine dont runaway when lurker burrowed near him.

Lurker will win, because takes around 2-3 hits for marine be killed by lurker while lurker has higher hp n can take alot more hits, unless a way for marine keeps far away from lurker and make him unburrow n come to him, then marine runs away n does it ova n ova i guess marine could win. so i guess i'll keep it null.

what you don't realize is lurker is one of the few units that can miss an attack. the marine has enough time to get one attack per burrow without getting hurt. the problem is the lurker can just stay burrowed until it regernates the health back. I think it's a tie.

This is sort of an oxymoron.

The marine could win. But it depends, how many upgrades do they have, how much damage do they do? Is the lurker seeable? There are all sorts of questions and either can win or lose.

Only way a marine can win is...

1-Marine is made stronger in a map editor
2-The lurker doesn't burrow
3-The marine is really smart and dodges every spike while shooting the lurker.

I don't know why such an obvious poll has gotten so many responses. I realize it is moronic that I am adding another response and complaining about the response numbers. But can someone close this topic?

I got a dumb question who would win a Reaver or a 5 drones and the Rea ver has full scarabs fullly uped and is invicible

Reaver would win bcause drones have no speedattack, but 4 zerglings will win reaver, i Just know it=)

It's not entirely impossible. If you've seen some pro gamers like BoxeR use their micro you'd be surprised.

I heard SuKeR[pG] once killed 3 lurkers with a single marine and a few medics. I have the replay, however it's 1.10.

One of the Pimpest Plays at sclegacy.com shows TilleRMaN killing several zerglings with one marine and a few medics as well.

But it is very dificult do smthng like that in game. My micro more poor=)
