is there a way i can edit the campaigns for starcraft to make my own?

P.S. what the hell is the terran pheonix?And whats the name of the .grp for th unused zerg weapon ''Venom''

Phoenix = Wraith. Blizzard left a mess in their resource files, that's why it is called like this.

As for editing the original campaigns...refer to this document:
http://www.campaigncreations.org/starcraft.../pc_intro.shtml. It's old, but still valid for the most part of it.

Venom = thingy\epfire2.grp
Venom hit = thingy\etghit.grp
You can find these by poking around in the "images.dat" tab of datedit.
