Ok, First of all i wanted to revive this topic with an Interactive Flash Movie in the first post that would contain the unit library with stats and stuff, and the most recent updates, but for some odd reason when i attach it to my post it is only visible in IE. FF, Opera and others see just a white rectangle, and i have no idea how to fix it.
It doesn't happen to anyone else i asked.. So I guess I'll just have to stick with Plain 'Ol text. Sorry.

Well i guess you're all are familar with what i'm making but anyway:

The Mod will change:
Terrans - Infested Terrans
Protoss - The Renegade
Zerg - Umojan Protectorate


The mod should be compactible with any SC version (not sure about 1.14 though, because even though i have a legal SC version, i can't even start regular SC with it)
because i will not be using memgraft ( i would reconsider changing around tech trees and stuff when Firegraft comes out though, because now Memgraft just hates me and has no userfriendlyness whatsoever)

So basically all Races will be changed into Terran related factions using walkarounds :P


Here are 3 screenshots i made some time ago featuring all the units i had done by the time:

Since then i haven't done much and the mod production was on hold. But now i started working again and i made a recolored Civilian which will be used for Umojan Recruit:

I also made an Umojan Gas Purifier but i'm still tweaking the animation so i'll post it later.

Also i've got a custom music track specially for my mod it will be used as the Title track. Much thanks to Tom Resnick from Music by Jason Forums for the track :)
Anyway I still need 3 more for each race..

Ok, now if someone wants to help me out i have some questions and stuff:

Is there any way to prevent Larvaes from stacking when u make the player able to control them?

Is there a way to disable Archon and Dark archon morphs without memgraft? The buttons can still be there but i need them disabled (i.e. not doing anything.) via Dats, Orders, anything else..

Would someone be willing to change the Creep graphics to some metalic/plating tiles from any tileset? I know it's hard as hell but if someone has some free time or sth it would really be appreciated and not forgotten in the credits.

Also any custom infantry or any high frame number unit GRPs are welcome as long as their quality is decent :)

1. I don't think there's any way around this for the larva, but you could try changing their 'Animation Level' in units.dat
2. sorry, that's purely hardcoded

plz tell me cuz ive been tryin to do that but i can never combine the grp's like that

Aww.. i can live with the stacking, but isn't there really no way to prevent the archon morph? I could do something like making the archons require other race supply type, but the error message and the leftover requirements appearing over the button would look dumb.. And i find two infantry merging to create another unit idea pretty odd tongue.gif

Well just learn to use any advanced image editing program, and you'll create stuff like this easily..

Yeah, there's no way around the Larva thing, as far as I know... I've had the same problem in two mods. sad.gif

You could also replace the icon with a blank icon so it doesn't appear to be there, I doubt too many people randomly click.

this might be sorta annoying, but you could make them based off another unit that can't meld.

I agree with terrain.Most people won't randomly click onto a blank space.And I don't think you can change the larvae no matter what

Here's how I'd do it:
• price - 10,000 minerals and gas
• build time - 120
• supply - 200
• race - terran (not zerg, you can mind-control their overlords)
• make the button invisible
• remove the note that pops up when you move the mouse over the spell
• remove the sigorder command in the iscript

now if that don't stop them, I don't know what will tongue.gif

I don't understand why it should be infested terrans. Why not add a twist and add infested protoss or something. Guess its just your taste but then again Infested Protzen

I know how to fix that. You'll need to add an extra tag. Just replace this with your own attributes.

Do you want the creep to be metallic for every tileset? Or would it be acceptable to only have it working on one, like just jungle or something?

Hey and if i were to do the button 1x1 pixel, would the "click area" decrease as well, or maybe sc would just crash?

Well, i would need it for all tilesets except instalation of course. But if you would do it atleast for one it's very good, maybe some more people could get some more done, until i have all.

Just if you could do it, see if some type of tileset would be available from instalation to use as creep, then it would be different at all tilesets from their own ones, if not then use any metalic tileset from spaceplatform, i have a preference to Solar Array, but it could be too complicated, so any metalic stuff from space platform is ok.

Because infested Terran graphics are easy to make, and they look good, if i were to stack up infested tentacles and spore blobs on Protoss Buildings they won't look good, zerg + protoss have to be hybrids and those require brand new stuff, that's why i switched to umojan protectorate for zerg rather than hybrids...

Hmm, i can try this, but i remember trying sth like this but with <embed> and it didn't worked...

*Edit Yeah i just get the whole code posted, i don't think stuff like "<sth>" work in posts.. I just use

Or better yet, set it to all the races! biggrin.gif (makes it require supply for all races, but might have problems with supply errors)

And no, 1x1 pixel won't do anything except possibly make it crash, you'd have better luck making it invisible.
