Details, please: what programs do you use and what did you do?

Be more specific. What's going wrong? What have you edited? What doesn't change? Check to see if the .dat files are saved as their original names, and if they are then give more specifics. We can't help you without specifics.

okay, i used datedit, and all i did was change to shields and a few weapons, and then i saved it as units.dat, next, i opened up winMPQ and saved it as SCV.mpq and added the units.dat file in, then i closed the program, next i opened up mpqdraft and clicked load mpq patch, then i selected starcraft under programs and components, then i selected found scv.mpq and selected it, then i clicked next, and then i clicked finish. and when i played a single player melee nothing happened.

Did you put units.dat under the "arr\" path?

yes, i did.

Did you make sure the mpq was checked in MPQDraft, if you didn't then it probably didn't patch it in...

ill try that again, but i doubt it.

ADDITION:
nope, that wasn't the problem.

ADDITION:
anybody got any other suggestions?

You did make sure you used your modded .dat file, right?

you might have accidentally loaded the default file, or you forgot to save your .dat file. disgust.gif

ADDITION:
Yeah, it still doesn't work even when i re-do it.

Mind telling us what programs you're using, and what you're using them for?

Sorry about that, I read it a while back and forgot he told us... blushing.gif

I'm still sticking with my original theory, I think you forgot to save or loaded the default files...
