This game is going to be something you have never seen i am combining a RPG with a Helms Deep game I will have all the essentials of a Helms Deep Game with a rpg combined. The Helms deep part of the map you will still have to have rohan and the elven alliance (Elves). the RPG Part [Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Theéoden] i am going to add A Uruk-hai Commander. I will add Warg Riders into this aswell. i dont want to add to many characters but if i have 8 players this is how it will go.

New Idea's

-Collect and custumize your character from his armor to wheapon
-Interact with the people of helms deep
-Make potions by exploring around helms deep and collecting ingredients, Or Buy
-Secret Passages

Player 2 (Blue) : Elves (Elven Alliance) (Haldir)
Player 3 (Teal) : Legolas of the woodland realms
Player 4 (Purple) : Uruk-Hai Commander (Uruk-Hai's)
Player 5 (Orange) : Gimli Son of Gloin
Player 6 (Brown) : Saruman (Uruk-Hai's)
Player 7 (White) : Théoden (Rohan) (Éomer) (Gandalf the White) (Éowyn) (Gamling) (Hama) (Haleth)
Player 8 (Yellow) (Computer) : (Woman And Children of Rohan)

Firstly, Uglúk was slain by Eomer before the battle at Helm's Deep. Also, since you are apparently going off of the books and not the movies, it would be more accurate to say that Eomer was actually at Helm's Deep when Saruman attacked, and Erkenbrand came to the rescue after having regrouped his forces after the second battle of the Fords of the Isen. There should be a force for the evil men of Dunland as well, as they participated in the siege.

I No dude But lisen i said "Ugluk the Uruk-hai that Saruman sent to capture Frodo and Sam" im not saying he died i think ugluk was the best of all the uruk-hai so im making him commander.

After renaming this map after the movies it is only fair to say you go exactly as it was suppose to be. Meaning no "ooh hes cool" or "well i know that name so hes in".

You must be exactly like it... If your going to off the storyline why not just make it a new name instead of just calling it "Helms Deep [LotR]" get a new name and there you go, you've made a map that is somewhat different from all the other newbish copies of the film / books.

I no but what im trying to say is he was in the movie im not adding new characters im just bringing back some. But Dont worry ill change him when i find out the name of the Uruk-hai commander in helms deep.

Gothmog (I no for sure it wasn't Gothmog Because he is Lieutenant of Minas Morgul and him and The Witch King lead the attack on Minas Tirith)

Snaga (Mordor Orc) (i think he died)

Nearly all of those names aren't Uruk-Hai. The only Uruk-Hai that was named (in the books) was Ugluk, and in the movies it was both Ugluk and Lurtz, who both died before the Battle of Helm's Deep. There was no Uruk-Hai that actually led the battle, but only Saruman from afar.

There are tons and tons of Helm's Deep maps out there, so what makes this one so special?

Gothmog was a Uruk Hai but i no he wasn't in helms deep

Gothmog is an unknown race, for the Tolkien's never revealed what race he was.

Addition:
Gothmog came to power long before Saruman's reign; Uruk-Hai were created after Saruman took over Isengard.

For the record, Uruk-hai were improved Uruks, which were themselves improved orcs (also known as goblins - orcs and goblins are synonymous with each other).

I agree with what a few people said, what makes this map so much better than all the other lame Helms Deeps.

well i'm trying to ask you guys to help me and you guys are just saying this map is going suck "GIVE ME A CHANCE" you don't no that yet i mean if you had crapy terrian out you could say that is bad or something but your working with no evidence that this map is going to be crapy

Well put some screenshots up of what the terran looks like.... So we can get a feel for what this map will be like and sumit sugestions.

Well ur asking the wrong guy for help on that. I dont get these websites. ~ME SUPID~ SO whats so new and different than all the other Helms deeps?

in game press print screen then your screenshots will be sent to C://ProgramFiles/Starcraft/

or w.e it is. Then you open those files in photoshop and bam you have yourself a screenshot.

Open those screenshot files with Irfan View and then convert them to JPG from there.

The best Helm's Deep I've seen so far is Helm's Deep v. NGM (even though I was one of the makers of it). Try to get those screenshots up asap so we'll be able to conclude whether this map is good or not.

Well jsut because we see a screenshot, wont detemine if the map is good or not. It will just provide us with a first look at what makes this map so different than the others. Testing will determine if the map is worth while. And shiz, i no u from west, u came to kE- once or twice right?

Yes i agree on that but what i was trying to say is you guys half to give me a chance on this one i mean i still have alot more terrian to go.

yes i think i did go to kE- for a sec but that must of been a while ago so im not sure.

I'm pretty sure Gothmog was an orc. He was in the movies, though the Complete Guide to Middle-Earth (invaluable companion) says that he might have been a Nazgûl! The index in the Lord of the Rings says there is but one mention of him in any of the three books, on page 879, where he is referred to as "Gothmog the lieutenant of Morgul." I would say that he is most likely an orc (or Uruk). Tolkien never really named any of the Nazgûl except for the Witch King, who was only ever called the Witch King in the books. It would seem unlikely that he meant for Gothmog to be a Nazgûl, as Gothmog was the steward, if you will, of Minas Morgul.
