1.12b is a good one, because:

1. It has a Memgraft, and
2. There are things in this patch that can't be done in 1.13e, like morphing.

If you aren't using morphing, go ahead with 1.13e, if you aren't using Memgraft at all, use 1.14, or 1.13f if you want to use Limit Expander if you want to use a bunch of sprites.

1.07 had the most stuff, but its pretty outdated and can't connect to battle.net that easily. tongue.gif

As Pie said. 1.12b would be pretty much the best option.
Since it has a memgraft and blizzard hadn't patch stuff like morphing and UEDs
But 1.11b would be a god option too since blizzard hadn't fixed bugs like float a drone which you would be able to use at maximum in sometime.
if it was me, i would pick 1.12b

What stuff did 1.07 have besides well documented offsets that 1.12b doesn't have?

CASM, 'nuff said smile.gif

I guess ill go with 1.12b, thanks alot.

By the way, what is morphing and CASM?

CASM stands for Custom Assemmbly, which is custom game actions written in the assembly programming language.

Erm... ok..

and I used my brain for a bit, is morphing making a unit like a marine and changing it to a firebat?

Morphing is like the Mutalisk to Guardian thing. In later patches, Blizzard placed restrictions on it (due to the morph hack), so that we couldn't use the Morph action on certain units.

CASM is what Broodkiller said.
And with morphing we mean that in old patches (previous to 1.12b) memgraft would be able to add a morph button and make the unit morph into another just like a zerg morph but imagine a marine morphing to a firebat.
Anyways some gai hacker made a program which allowed people on b.net morph anyunit to another one more powerful as a game hack so blizzard found out and they obviously had to patch it.
so there it goes the history about morphing :l

Slight derail, but isn't that about completly wrong?

What it did was change a build action for an scv/probe into a morph command. You could then cancel the morph, get a muta and minerals. Or am I missing something there?

I recommend 1.12b anyways though.

No, instead of building a unit, the unit would simply just morph into it. (with a certain command)
E.g.: If you really wanted to, you could morph a barracks into a marine, a carrier into an interceptor, a probe into a pylon, etc.
And because it morphed like a mutalisk would and formed a mutalisk cocoon (unless it was supposed to morph in the first place..), cancelling would make it a mutalisk and give you your money "back". So it doubled is a money hack too...
So many people have come up with wierd theories. tongue.gif

Eh, this is a bit off-topic.. but anyways, 1.12b and before could morph and is currently the best choice.

MemGraft 1.13e

This file is compatible with Starcraft version 1.13e. This program is not compatible with Starcraft version 1.13f and above.

MemGraft allows you to patch StarGraft files for the current version of Starcraft, 1.13e. See the Modding Tutorial for more information.

Hmm.. maybe you should use Stargraft and go 1.07 then.

or ask someone who has Memgraft 1.12..
