You should program the generic "happy birthday" message everyone gets on their birthdays to also give them minerals.

It's a bad idea about minerals, because someone can just keep changing his BD like Deathhawk did.

I remember Phoenix changing his birthday date every day to the current day for about 4 days. He claimed that he's 37

Yeah, like it's been said you can keep shifting your birthday, and coding a feature to stop this from happening would be more work than it's worth.
