What (if any) are the unused flingy.dat and sprites.dat entries? I need them so I don't have to replace existing units/images. (I have a ton of free images.dat entries from what I did, and you can always add your own grps.
I would just check in DatEdit for the ones that aren't "used by" anything, but I know some of thoes are used...
Flingy.dat's "Venom(Unused Zerg Weapon) is unused as long as you don't use Venom...
It doesn't look to me like there are any unused flingys, but, then again, I'm not an expert at that sort of thing. My approach has always been to use, say, Khalis and Uraj, Overmind, etc. But as for finding ones that are ACTUALLY unused...well, you're on your own. Perhaps it's worth noting that the "Graphics" in the "Graphics" tab of units.dat is actually a pointer to flingy. Hm.

Uh, why do you think I am asking flingys?Iirc, there are 106, 121, 162, 164, and you can also change the pointer in units for the dt hero to point to the normal dt. Not sure about sprites, though.
There's also Unknown147 (the eldfire thing).

121 is independant starport... meh. I can always make that a crashing unused, too.
I'll leave this open just in case someone else knows some more.Just change the Independent Starport/other unused building graphics to something else.

Independant Starport is the only unused with its own image, everything else is just Scout (that is why they crash).
