As A lot Of You Know Limewire Is Most Popular For All Customers To Get Free Stuff. That Is Also For Hackers Also. NO They Dont Get In By Downloading Something. They Get It By Limewire LOADING UP. They Download When That Happens And As Soon As ALL Virus In The World Are On Your Computer They Will Strike At Once. A Gazillion Pop-Ups And Nothing Will CLose. CTRL+ALT+DEL Wont Work is a Sypmton. I Got This Virus And My Sister Paid For It All. 300$ To Fix. Plus They Clean My Computer

wat i do when i have 84gkwrj32 viruses, i'll just use my restore cd, it deletes everythin n starts the comp all over again like it's brand new(thats how i lost some unprotected maps of mine)

Limewire is not the most popular. I would say azerus and bit turrent are up. Limewire is stupid. I think more people use kazza than limewire. Just limewire pisses to me off to..

LimeWire is the best on Macs (or perhaps Poisoned is), but we don't get the same viruses so I suppose it doesn't matter.

Limewire isn't the problem.. its your computers. I have been using macs for 10+ years and never had one virus, or had to send it in to get repaired.. we just paid for it at the price and it still works 5 years later.. I use limewire all the time. If you click "Launch//Preview" while it is downloading you can see if it is really a song or a link//virus.. oh, I only dl music from limewire.. thats the safest too..

actually lime wire has 1 advantage too bit lord which is you can download single tracks from albumns which as with bitlord u hav the entire albumn list and takes u ages to click off all the squares *if u go for the big popular 1's*

What are these virus's named? I allways get thiniak219.com or something is trying to access the internet and I always block it.. Does it relate to anything?

I don't get any viruses using limewire and I've been using it on this computer since May 05. It still runs as fast as it used to.

I have never gotten a virus from limewire in the 2 years ive been using it. You have no proof limewire got you the virus, your just blaming it because your not informed enough on the holes in other programs to blame them. Not saying its impossible limewire gave you a virus, but its much more likely something else did it.

Don't download the wrong stuff on limewire and you won't get viruses. For instance, Don't download standalone EXEs or look for games and download a 800kb file.

Torrents are better though, especially for downloading albums of music. Don't have to download 12 files, just 1 zip or 1 torrent... =\

If you pay 300 dollars to fix viruses you're not very smart. No offense.
And hey, if you want to download unlicensed material, try downloading and cracking an AV...(Pc-cillin 2006!!!)

BitComet is the best torrent client though.. :0

As if it's worth 300 dollars installing windows on another partition or just reformating the hard drive and reinstalling windows.. LOL.. And what did they do, clear your cache? -_-
