Ok after looking at some good screenshots of stacked terrain I was wondering how do you stack them like in deads Tall building screenshot it just goes upright.

Is there a special feature is SCMdraft that does that?

There is a special editor, but you do not just place the terrain like you do in StarEdit. You place a tile with a design that is 32 pixels high/wide. You have to place hundreds to make big multi-level structures such as that.

Look through the tutorials for more info

Place some water down. Then place some highdirt cliff right next to it and you'll notice that the cliff merges with the water part of the cliff.

Copy a 2width by 3height peice that cuts a small corner of the water cliff, but do not actually select the tile that has water.

Then just paste that over and over.

There is a tutorial somewhere in this forum that explains it with pictures.

There is no special magic feature in any map maker that automatically does custom blends for you. If there was, it would be the ultimate Open Source Terrain project...

Most of this stuff is custom blended terrain that is designed and built with time and effort.

Get SCMDraft2, go to terrain layer, select "tileset indexed" mode and make it tile by tile. Does this require any longer spaming? no.

Bye spam topic. bye.gif
