I don't know if anyone's read this in depth to the manual, but I'm curious... what exactly do the Terrans in StarCraft eat and drink?

Roasted Zergling, actually, I'd assume they'd eat freeze-dried food and beer, because I vaguely remember one popping one open in a cut scene..

Well.. They have probably developed to te point where food is no longer "eaten." They could simply have some fluid flowing through their suit and nourishing them that way. The supply depots are large vats of nuitrent mix which is passed to each new comming terran soldier. They work by filtering out the air and condensing the small ammounts of compounds, building the protiens and carbohydrates we need. The civilians, which do not have any suit to speak of, do not eat the food and will all eventually die off.
(Based entirely off the fact that terrans don't say anything about eating, and that the supply depots have big fans.)
