I just lost power (and got it back) that was caused by ernesto. Anyone else on the east coast have stories?
It's been raining all day too
By the time it hits me, it won't be a hurricane anymore. w00t for living up North!
Well, waiting for my mom's car to pull up for 10 minutes in the light showers sucked. I was freezing, even though I didn't really get wet. And it made me have to take a piss.
Lost power again. Just got it back. I swear, I must me jinxed or something. Right when I got off the computer (due to boredom), the power went out. Not 20 seconds after I did it. And when I found something to eat, I was lighting some candles so I could see while eating (dark room) and literally, I was holding the lighter about to light it and the power goes back on.
I live in New England.
I'm sure it'll ruin my 4 day weekend or something.. and rain
Worst name for a hurricane ever. I hate living in continental Canadia, no fiersome weather.
All we get is rare tornadoes, or rare whatever it was that happened recently down in Provo.
Not East Coast tornadoes, ftw. Ernesto killed my Internet/phone access; and I only got the 'net 10 minutes ago. No phone access either. Maybe it's because the phone line to our house was knocked down and is dangling in my yard
All it did to me is give us some light rain and slightly higher than normal winds.
Same here. The only reason they are making such a big deal about it is because people are expect something along the lines of Katrina. So CNN and Fox and all of them are giving us in depth coverage about crap nobody cares about. Or atleast people on the Eastern Coast who are actually feeling it don't. It seems like people are just sporadically get power outages for brief periods. It's happened before, so who cares?
I just watched Slam Dunk Ernest today, but freak your East coast hurricane crap. Spend a winter up here in Superior, Wiscansin, you'd be wishing for hurricane weather.
I think where I'm at we're going to get hit with some of that hurricane John crap...
But whatever, you warm weather states got it nice.
But I want snow

Ain't warm weather in winters here either. I've gone camping in -30 celcius.
Celcius? What the hell kind of imperial country do you come from? You damn Canuck. Lake Superior effect snow, try that? (Actually, I don't really know what kind of water-body induced weather you get in N.S.)
The Atlantic Ocean?
Also, Dartmouth is known as "The City of Lakes", so we have a few of those too
Ernesto can suck my balls, west coast is the best coast.

true true...in colorado we lose power all the time during the winter from the snow
Here in California we hate the the Sun sometimes and some times wish(or at least I do) for a hurricane. If only John didnt lose power in Baja Cali,if it kept its power it would have hit LA in days
