This isn't great at all, but I was just trying to make a high dirt piece from scratch. I'm trying also to make the dirt blend into jungle terrain.

Insanely unnessacary. Dude... just make a normal peice of high dirt and go from there. There IS no point in doing what you've just done... What you're doing is making life harder for yourself. *Note to self: Remind self to give rating of 0*

Extremely true. There's no reason to make high dirt from scratch when there's a perfectly good iso brush. And you failed at the blending game. As much as I view this as unnecessary and a waste of time, I do admire your initiative. 0/10.

I told you guys it wasn't great, i was just trying to make a regular cliff without isom

It's just that this forum is normally meant for extended terrain that's not basic... or related to isom.

Technically your wrong. It just says terrain not extended terrain so he is entitled to post this.

Even though its made from scratch, its no better than regular isom. And jungle>dirt blends also exist with isom.

That little un-starcraft looking edge on the top right side is fun, it looks very natural compared to regular work, I like that part, else it's just regular isom.

I actually found doing isom myself helped me get better with blends. Foo on these other people, keep doing this and then try other things with it, like using grass to blend it into normal dirt.

"Blends"?

Meh. That's not any different from the original isom, except for the little reused 'rocks' you have on the edge. You did waste your time, by doing something that is easy. Not only did you waste your time, but you entitled some people to act like morons. Your 'i said it was great' post wasn't neccessary, since people know that. They have the right to critize you if that's what you're saying no to.

Ok we all know this terrain is uglyier then dirt but that was to excessive. I dont considered to much of blend it looks so much that you just clicked a dab and you put some squares on with no sprites.

even if this was your first try to make it look like you even tried. It makes my beach terrain look better then yours!
