Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> Nydus Canal Bug
Report, edit, etc...Posted by xmrxsiegecopx on 2006-09-03 at 23:08:35
I was using ScmDraft2 v0.6.0 to place nydus canals. One nydus canal that I created didn't link to its connector and messed up my nydus canal links. I was deleting the nydus canals when the one nydus canal that didn't link caused SCMD to crash.After reopening the map and trying to delete that nydus canal, it still crashed!

Th error message is the one that tells something bad happened and if you want to save a dump file.

try starforge then, to make it linked, just place one nydus, and it will show red line, and 2nd nydus you place will be the exit.

SF can't link units. You have to do it manually (it's one of the "unknown" fields).

OP: Post the map here. I don't quite get what exactly your situation was, but I remember it being able to screw up (though not crash) when I was playing around with the unit links. You're using the latest version, right?

Attatchments are messed up, but here it is:

[attachmentid=20981]

It's the nydus canal closest to the top left, and yes, I'm using the latest version.

i'm using both SF and scmdraft, so i think scmDraft was doing that, try it, it worked for me.
