A StarCraft modification
Yes, this is my first mod.
And yes, this will be rigged as hell.

Mod Definately Works for: StarCraft BW 1.14

Current Version: 0.12!

This mod (so far) focuses on Terran.
A List of Changes: (Mighta forgotten something though. :\)
I'd better have not forgotten something.

ANNOYING GLITCHES, BUGS, AND OTHER PROBLEMS:
-Custom portrait=Not working (I found a good hunter-killer portrait but it's not working)
-[ SQUASHED ] That damn lockdown roll-over box STILL NO LONGER shows resource cost or something instead of the actual energy amount.

MISC/MULTIPLE RACES RACES:
-Text changes on certain things (like Schezar's autocannons being named Rotary Ubercannons)
(specifics later)
-Added "descriptions" for buildables.
EXAMPLE:
"Build Marine"
"Basic Gunner"
"50 [Minerals]"
-Cursor changed. On some terrain types like ashworld, the colors end up changing a teensy bit.
-Various sounds changed. Namely title music, gollie autocannons, medic flashbang hitting, menu sounds, ghost firing sound, and others.
-Spell energy usages changed.
-Some spells/abilities can be aimed at terrain instead of needing a unit target.
-Some spells/abilities are more damaging or now cause damage.
-Static defense is upgradable.
-Supply, cost, and time to build have been changed. Faster paced, more unbalanced, and full of RIGGY! YAY!
-New beacon graphics. Score one for copying and pasting.
-New command icons. Yes, they're ugly. No, I'm not good at graphics. XD
-Cheat Enabled/Disabled message changed
-Did I mention resources are destructable? (It takes a DAMN lot of firepower, since the fields/geysers have 9999+ hp)
-Campaign ever so slightly changed, for terran so far.
-Tips are changed

TERRAN:
-SCV welder attacks faster.
-Marine fires full-auto now.
-Jimmy does too. biggrin.gif
-Tanks in normal mobile mode now shoot rockets.
-Ghost uses new combine soldier sounds and is stronger.
(Whoo! C-285 Combine Sniper Rifle v2!)
-Terran buildings under construction graphic changed.
-Engineering bay now has animated flashing lights of various colors. (That means that while something is upgraded at an engi bay, the lights flash different colors.)
-Missle Turrets splash ground but don't target it.
-Bunkers now have shields and can hold 6 units.
-Vulture grenades have a small amount of splash.
-Ghosts fire faster. And do normal damage.
-Lockdown is now a missle launcher.
-Nuke dot changed. biggrin.gif
-Siege tank in tank mode hitting now uses Arclite Shock Cannon hit graphic instead of C-10 Canister Rifle hit graphic.
-Siege tank in siege mode now shoots missles at an EXTREME range.
-Duke's tank in siege mode outranges normal tank.
-I might have to lower the ranges soon. Hehe.
-Both tanks now have long cooldown. It'll feel like eternity on slowest speeed.
-Goliaths now have quickly firing autocannons that make strider (HL2) sounds.
-Valkyrie now attacks ground.
-Wraith uses pulse laser and halo rocket graphics, and had its thing sticking out from the bottom cut off. (Didn't cut it off wireframe, no free program to easily do so.)
-Tom Kazansky uses rockets and stuff.
-Self insertion. (See: GenericSS)
-Battlecruiser is now the (kinda) ultimate weapon, especially its Yamato gun. Speaking of the Yamato gun, it now has new sounds and does 1000+ damage. A hit. With splash. And is aimable at terrain.
-Some ranks are changed.
-Stukov (Read: GenericSS) now has different speech. Duke tank speech is replaced, and Norad II now uses Duke tank speech.
-Duran (normal) is now SnakesSon0. Let's see if MIA boy gets back soon. (Note: Snake is just a friend of mine.)
-Schezar is now Toa1337 (or was it 5555?). Enjoy the Rotary Ubercannons and Hellscream Missles. (Note: Toa is just another friend of mine, and goes to SEN. I don't think he's using Toa5555 or Toa1337 as a screenname anymore.)
-Nuclear Missle does 5000 damage, and 3000 more if you upgrade marine range. wink.gif

PROTOSS:
-Probes attack faster(?)
-Dragoons shoot missles. Fenix 'goon shoots spreads of missles.
-Normal templars now have an attack.
-Psi storm roxxorz. biggrin.gif
-Interceptors fire missles. Quite a nice bomber, hmm?
-Nexus and pylons look different now. Nexus change is subtle but pylon change is quickly seen. I fixed the shadow this time, too. wink.gif
-Protoss buildings (except for photon cannon and shield battery) don't need to be within pylon range.
-Tassadar now uses his templar form voice even in his carrier. I wonder what unit I should give a new set of speech sounds to next.
-Aldaris is now named "George W. Bush?"
-Fenix (zealot) now uses "LIGHTSABERS!!".
-Fenix (dragoon) now uses "Matter Disrupters".
-Dark Templar (hero versions) now use "Warp Slicers"
-Corsair fires at ground.
-DT slashing sound is different.

ZERG:
-Hunter Killer shoots spores.
-Defilers (including hero) now use their previously unused attack.
-Drones attack faster.
-Mutalisks now use Bio-Blades. Kukulza now uses Bio-Shuriken. Shing shing shing.

Thank you, the lockdown message hell has been resolved and the fix will come with version 0.12 (maybe I'll have something good for Zerg this time).

Seeing as how this isn't really attracting interest (I blame the gigantic changelist), I've added a few lines that'll cut a bit of five to ten minutes of reading time. For anyone wondering if 0.12 is coming...

Since the goliaths (and Schezar) are so painfully overpowered with their insane ROF, I plan on cutting their damage in half.

Also, the campaign replacement missions are now likely going to be new missions, not just modifed oldies. This may take a while.

QUICK EDIT: They're probably going to not be melee style either.

I've done plenty of DatEdit work, some GRP work (whoo! new cursors!), some txt work (new unit/weapon names, still working on it. I've changed some other .tbl files besides stat_txt)), some mapping work (for version 0.12(?)), GOTedit work (version 0.12 0.14 again), and I attempted some portrait work but that didn't go over so well. You can rest assured that I'm putting funny/whacky/cool looking stuff over total balance.

QUICK EDIT: Since this is my first mod, I've not worked on IScripting yet, and the non-stat_txt.tbl changes are for 0.12 which I intend on releasing when I think it's ready.

QUICK EDIT 2: It's out. Zero point twelve (0.12!) is out. After all, the number changes only by 0.01 so I might as well release it. The first redone campaign mission is in the works, and is on badlands. The only other info you'll get is that I'm planning on using HL2 sounds for it. Hehe.
