Vermont is planning on seceeding from the union. There have been conferances on the subject for a couple months now. Think it will happen? Do you support it? Do they have the legal right?

Anyways if this were true then Vermonts economy would be crap. I bet the US would refuse to trade or help Vermont if they actually did secede. Or do what they did like Pter Griffin made his own country of Petoria.

I'd love to see California secede. We have by far the most people and the biggest economy of the states, and would actually stand a fair chance as a country in the international scene.

No, it would still be the United States of America, but all the old Canadian provinces would be subdivided into states (maybe three or four apiece, with the exclusion of the Maritimes, which would simply be renamed).

Vermont doesnt really have a self-sustainable economy, and therefore would probably not make it. New York and California would probably able to make it, due to them having large enconomies. if maybe four midwest states banded together, they would have enough agricultural power to force the US to rely on them, so that would work, but Vermont, no.

That would be cool when that does happen but then before that there would maybe be a world war III were america bombs Japan and Japan drops an atomic bomb on america and france invades germany but germany beats them and eventually america and canada fuse to become the ultimate world power.
