Literally.
BATTLE.NET ISSUES AND ANNOYING TATICS
Have you ever met a fag? Such as a thirteen year old who swears, and hates you right off the bat?, who has mispelling and improper grammar issues?
I have. Plenty.
Such as the sensitive ten year olds, immature fourteen year olds, and of course, just the plain adults who like being asses.
I've logged on battle.net, and first thing I notice:
<harrison> freak U
<pwnt> stfu noob
<Trivia.Bot> Correct, Pwnt!, you win twenty-five minerals for recieving the correct answer!
<pwnt> haha i own u all
<harrison> freak U
<harrison> freak U
<harrison> freak U
<harrison> freak U
harrison has left the channel.
I asked pwnt what had happened, and he responds:
<pwnt> stfu
<pwnt> u mother fuker
<pwnt> u suk my dik
<pwnt> N1GGA!!
.....
That's on issue. We have TOO MANY IMMATURE fags, and underaged youths who DO NOT HAVE LIVES. The administration MUST BE BROUGHT BACK, or the COMMUNITY WILL FALL.
Two more groups:
Anti-laggers and noobs.
Anti-laggers consists of impatient hosts (usually youths or immature teenagers; adults are ALWAYS in town square). They ban if you have download, or slow download. They believe slow download = lag, which is NOT true. The map is usually the cause, but YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to ban them ON THE SPOT. At least let them DOWNLOAD, and ask them to leave.
Noobs are usually ten year olds who just bought starcraft and joined multiplayer without knowing anything. They will attempt to learn something they want to, and are usually accosiated as map stealers:
<coolman> how do u make maps?
<coolman> plz I wnat to know
<coolman> tell me plz
GAME: RP
coolman has joined the game.
99 coolman: sup
host: sup
coolman has left the game.
Now, 'coolman' has probably stole the map.
I have one more issue to rant on: editors. They ALWAYS edit maps to their favor, or add more stuff and delete the original map. And ALWAYS take credit. For example, if a force or unit is named: 'By so-and-so', they would remove that, and put 'Edited by so-and-so', their names, thus leaving no credit for the original creator, violating rights, and stealing maps or editing them without permission.
This is a problem. A problem that ANNOYS ME VERY GREATLY today.
IMO, this topic is pretty spammy and allows people to bypass the swear filters by quoting alleged conversations with obnoxious battle.net players (such as the above examples). Also, it could easily develop into flaming between members if they start calling eachother noobs.
Yea, obnoxious people are just part of life, and not limited to b.net only.
