Is it possible to save one tile as a picture? For example, the tileset is jungle and I select a water tile. Is it possible to save that tile as an image? If it IS possible, how would I do it? Well, besides taking a screenshot and cropping the tile itself

It would be possible if you resized it to fit the dimensions of a square. (In case you were talking about a rectangle) Then after doing this it would be enlarged to 128x128. And look like crap.

Hmmm....I know ONE way to do it. There's a program called SnagIt that lets you capture a "square" of anything you choose. I could capture like the master pallette or something....and crop then one by one.

CC2000. They have one large tile that plays from the LotC video and another tile that shows the Campaign Creations logo. It is incredible when used right. Yes, it is possible, yes it requires a modification to the game, no it is not Battle.net friendly.

And there I thought those were units with an animation for their "idle" in a similar way to how air units float 
I've made custom doodads before, obviously not b.net friendly (the tilesets are ~6MB each and you have to replace the entire thing, not good for a map even if it worked in the map's file)
