T1 isn't really that great... =\ it's just a lot more bandwidth, you won't really get that much speed...

AOL 56k Dial up suits all my needs, yet it sucks when you have to download stuff. Besides, my computer is currently incompatibe with DSL and Cable. It also cured me of being a Battle.Net addict.

Because you can't play SC at all on dialup. By the way, AOL != good.

Lol, WTF does playing StarCraft have to do with internet?! If you mean Battle.Net, you can still play, but you can't download maps over 100kb or play big maps or with more than three other people. Besides, when I used to have a good computer with DSL, lots of people lag, either because of dial up on big maps, or their router/firewall was on.
AOL 56k is at least better than 28k Dial Up.
