In arsenal III it said invalid pointer operation every time i close the program,open a file ect. Sometimes even when i can load a file, the list/words on the left for the units ect. is replaced by something like this not (really this is example) §çΓ†‡╚å

Don't use arsenal three. Use DatEdit.

Arsenal III was poorly programmed and has those errors for everyone, use DatEdit instead (like kow said

Arsenall III was a good dat editing program.

RetroGRP Is good for begginers, you can have fun editing the graphics of starcraft

TblPadis good let's you edit strings as you whish, edit...almost every text in starcraft

Memgraft is an advanced modding tool that let's you edit starcraft memory, you can add buttons, create new tech trees...in others.

All of those tools are better explained in this tutorial down here

It won't work, we have already 5 stickies, which is too much. From my experience people look at stickies only if there are like 1 or 2 of them.

wow lol and how do i make the command center be able to recieve minerals but can land next to minerals? how do u also (really? use memgraft?)edit: how do i make the mod change the title screen? i already made the picture.

to use memgraft, you have to downgrade sc to a version that it can run, other then that, just follow the tuts

and by the way. can anybody make a sprite for bushand i cant find the list to remove the 'unknowns' for the diablo II charlist. i wanna change starcraft and turn it into diablo II and make a map of diablo II....

To be more precise, it was SC -> War3 (using some of the info that was known about War3 (which had not yet come out when it was in the making) such as the burning Legion etc). The mod was originally SC -> War2, but later developed into a War3 conversion instead, still using the War2 graphics (and some graphics stolen (don't know if they had permission - not that it really matters) from an old TC for War2 called Rituals of Rebirth), as well as one or two from Diablo I.

Blizzard never gave any reason why they shut the mod down. However, it was right before War3 was to be released, and I suppose Blizz didn't want people to confuse the mod with the real War3. Also, it was pretty similar to War2, so I suppose Blizz feared that people could possibly play the mod instead of buying War2BNE.

Since Diablo II isn't a strategy game, you can't really make an SC -> Diablo II mod that captures the spirit of D2. I don't think Blizzard would mind if you tried it. My personal belief is that their main reason to shut down the War3TC because of the upcoming release of the real War3, and with no release of Diablo * being imminent, that problem is out of the way :p You can put the D2 graphics in SC, but you can't capture the feeling of D2, so it's not even a threat to Blizz. I'd say go for it if you have the patience.
