I'd like to see what you think.
Papers base their headlines off what people are interested in, and are people more interested in something happening to someone important, or something happening to many people who "do not matter as much."
Just proving life's not fair.
750k people dying is a hell of a lot of people. That would definately be bigger and way more shocking than a president's death, although it probably depends on what part of the world you're in.
President's death. Who cares about 750,000 people of a third-world country nowadays ?
Duh, the president.
This makes me think of that Stalin quote I heard somewhere (maybe it was here that I heard it). 1 death is a tragedy, 1 million deaths is a statistic.
Depends. You didn't specify which country the president was president of, nor what country you're recieving the news in. If I'm the US and president of Zimbabwe gets shot and killed, the 750,000 people killed would probably get more attention.
I voted the 750,000. Besides what if that was a diesease that then killed the president.
and what if the president was like the president of some third world country that had 750,000 people dead.
If the president of the USA died, it would get more media. It directly affects us.
I say PResident if its USA.Other than that 750k people.
There's no question about this one... Hell, look at how much publicity Darfur gets compared to something like... say... Angelina Jolie's baby.
Depends on how the 750k people die. =\
