However, whenever I try to decode the weapons.dat file, Arsenal crashes with no error messages or anything. I'm not sure whether this is caused by a bad dat file or a bad format file,
hey i'm using AZ-Pc version mainly but i didn't have use MAC version
but i can tell u what's u going on ....
Anyways ur main problem is Decoding which DAT to TXT file Right?
if ur AZ crashes when try Decoding and u don't know why that does crashed
then just get decoded text file of Dat file
i just upload decoded TXT file so try get that and use that txt source file from here
http://cafe.naver.com/ArticleRead.nhn?club...e=&articleid=19if ur AZ would crashed even though u do compile with that
then i have no idea What ur AZ problem is
However just try that if u coudn't get Decoded TXT file

I'm the only person on earth that still uses this, and the developer hasn't responded to my emails. I'm wondering if anyone here has ever used the PC version of Arsenal ZERO.
u not alone here i am who's still use AZ mostly and think AZ is could better than Asenal and DatEdit atleast for me

I can't use DatEdit or Memgraft or any of the other cool modding tool that make StarCraft modding into a n00b sport. Meh, if no-one knows what's going on, I'd appreciate someone who has 5 minutes of free time inputting my idea into DatEdit and sending me the resulting weapons.dat. Thanks.
right for beginers those are very good tools
but hey just think about it "Tools is just Tools" if u could make utility or extended funtions or just little funtions for AZ or iceCC which modding tools for MAC by ur self
then u don't have to try use that against your conditions
if u ask about my AZ for PC, i'm not use default AZ now i had modify AZ for connecting Varriable and strings to my Text editor and i add varriable names and descriptions for AZ compiler and decompiler
by modifing strings in AZ source
but if u figured out about all varriables then u don't have to modify AZ like me
