I made this map over the last 5 days or so. I've only been able to test it with what I can do in single player. I need help balancing and finding any bugs. Basically the map is a maddness map where everthing is cloaked.

Are madness maps still going around? I'm not at a computer with SC, so I guess I should ask, what does your map have, that all the other madness maps don't?

Well, obviously his madness map has all cloaked units. biggrin.gif I, too am at a computer w/o SC and cannot test the map.

Well I wouldn't like to. Firstly, though I have never played a madness map, its only been made in 5 days. Try to spend some time working ut kinks.

He has only been able to test the map in single player, and needs all players tested. tongue.gif

I don't see whats so cool of this by having cloaked units when you have observers to see them, it's the same thing having uncloaked units and no observers.

Created in Starforge(Or started in it anyway).

This map could have been much smaller with compression techniques. I didn't view the map in Starcraft yet though.

What im trying to say is, cloaked or non cloaked is the same thing, theres no difference if u don't cloak units, cuz whats the point of cloaking them if you can see them anyway?

How do you know there are kinks, you haven't played it.

No, I tested all players, just need some help balancing heroes is all.

Everythings cloaked, holding the center will give you ore to buy units. The heroes do stuff. Like Dark Swarm kills guys, tower create cloaked tanks, broodlings become mines, devourers become permaburrowed lurkers. Other than that, nothing smile.gif

Alright i gave it a try.. Nice map indeed, but why do you start out whith 500 minerals? Just a test thing?

There is no victory trigger either what i could notice.. When my opponent got owned he just got defeat and nothing happened to me..

Nice map anyway.

Well I'm a nub to the max. Yeah, twas a test thingy with the 500 minerals. I'll compress the map and I'll fix the victory trigger.

You never played it, Bolt? It's funny because I consider Cloaked Zergling Blood to be a crappy, boring map with a professional polish over it. I just think that the concept of a "totally-cloaked" map should have ended with it, unless more innovation is put into it. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

Vindexus: I'm not criticizing you, as it's a great technique to become familiar with, and I try to appreciate the drive of anyone who finishes a map. I'm just a jerk, what can I say?

More fun in which aspect? more fun to set more triggers to cloak them, or u mean more fun to have transparent units in the actual game? i don't think any of those are fun.

It's more fun to make the triggers. It's more fun to be testing it and cloak a queen and say "I'm the master of the universe." Map making is more fun when you accomplish challenges, no matter how small, that you've set for yourself. Mine was to create cloaked units that aren't normally cloaked.

You think about yourself, but you're not thinking bout the players, they are not setting triggers so they wont get that "fun", so whats the benefit or what makes it different from other madnesses?

Dude, who says your map has to be fun for the players? It doesn't matter as long as you have fun making it.
