Ive read many differant forum entires trying to find useful information. In my readings ive seen that the version of starcraft you have makes a differance because some programs were designed to work with a particular version. So my question is if i try to play on battle.net it will make me update my starcraft to the latest version so my question is how do I play modded games on battle.net? If its at all possible.

You can't play on the regular four gateways; you need to be able to connect to a different gateway. All topics about this tend to get removed (I'm not sure why, ask the modding forum moderators,) but if you PM anyone who plays regularly on Mod Night they'll be able to tell you.

Incorrect You can't play mods that use memgraft/stargraft in Regular b.net. In order to play them in multiplayer you will have to connect to a custom gateway that is version friendly and does not have that ugly version check of b.net
