In one game, Asteriod Race, there is a place where the medics blind you automatically. and i looked at the map and it didnt seem as though there were any triggers that turned on AI or did any orders yet these medics blinded you. How do you think it works and How could I make it on my map so that certain units are blinded?
spells are automatically cast if the correct conditions are met. I'm not sure what the conditions are for blind but I think you must have a unit with a certain amount of hit points ...
Woah! your right
i just used the amount of hp a seige tank has because medics usually blind seige tanks and voila! it worked
thanks
Medics will blind almost every unit, BUT if a unit has low HP, it will not blind. A medic also needs energy to blind.
yea, so set blind to about 1 enerhy cost so that u dont have 2 continually give the medics more energy
One Question: Sometimes I see maps with Units that are already blinded. I tried checking all the properties boxes in starforge but that didn't work. So how do you do that?
They have to be blinded by a medic, even if it's right off the start. There's just no other way. If you can, post one of these magical maps. :/
If a unit has at least 81 HP it will usually blind that unit, if it has the energy to.
Okay, I believe you moose, my memory is probably a tad off.
remember, medics will always blind overlords and other detectors as soon as they can,.. whoa now i got 100 posts
Yes, medics will automatically do it themselves so long as the health of the unit is more than the medic's. You can also use blind on traps.

Can you blind a Critter?
Yeah, but I don't see why, I don't think a computer will either.
Sometimes units dont get blind. Because you move unit away to fast before its blind or to many units in area about be blind. So gotta give it time.
Blind the critters! They're top secret spies for Yoshi!
Nah... his spies are a battlecruiser... watch out... they're slow...
