I remember seeing in some people's warn logs (in the post your warn logs threads) that people were getting warned for putting

-(name)

at the end of their posts. I've been noticing that S.T.A.R.S-Le0n has been doing it a lot. Is this a punishable offense or not?

I think it should (I'm the only one that ever enforced it). But hey, let's just make this topic a nice vote. I say it cheats the mineral system and post count system because the extra characters might make some things that ordinarily wouldn't count pass through.

Adding -(name) is a signature.

Yeah, so you might as well always warn people "by the book". Ban all people who had double accounts (including me and Moose).

I don't see people being too insolent with little forgivings that you give.

As far as people making double accounts... it's just retarded and has no real purpose. "I wanted my warn log cleared..." It's just plain annoying, unneeded, and, of course, the minor advantages of putting that minisignature is because of the minerals or post count. That's minor, though.

And I think what's really dumb about it is that we already know who is posting it anyway. If our usernames are never shown when we post, then it would be a nice idea to add the "- Name" at the end, but the very first thing I notice when I read responses in topics is the username of the person posting.
