Staredit Network -> UMS Showcase -> Phantom -Perfection-

This is a modification of the original map Phantom.

Instead of the Phantom getting a constant flow of extra resources, the Phantom gets 16 minerals/gas for every chunk that is mined. This improves the gameplay by:

-Nerfing Phantom rushes; encourages the Phantom to hide for a while
-Economy-draining strategies against the Phantom will be useful
-The Phantom needs to expand like a normal player
-The phantom cannot be COMPLETELY obvious by, for example, building a Factory when it does not have a Refinery
-And overall, being the Phantom requires more skill!

If anyone has seen my Resource Conversion map, the engine has been improved. The only (minor) flaws now are:

-If you mine minerals/gas at the same time you make a transaction, those resources will not double
-You will not be able to get double resources while repairing something.

However, not much else is modified other than how the Phantom's resources are twice that of a normal player. This map is based off the BGH Edition.

EDIT: OOPS, I made a mistake on the first version. If the first slot is vacant, there will not be a phantom! DOWNLOAD PHANTOM 1.1 IF YOU DO NOT WANT THAT RISK.

Basically just detecting when a mineral chunk is brought to the Town Hall and maybe a few more detection tricks.

I'd assume bring mineral chunk "over command center" give 8 minerals plus the 8 that he is getting for that mineral chunk.

OK, I've submitted this to the DLDB about 9 days ago. Why hasn't it been added yet?

Sounds like a cool map, but I get an error when I try to download it.
