I install a mod but now i cant play my orgnial one anybody help

Installed a mod? Which one? There are only a couple obscure mods that you install, I think.
Original one? You mean like Starcraft without any modifications?

It says starcraft was unable to open a qequire file. If this problem persists, try ireinstalling from starcraft CD. THe problem occured while trying to lad a file rez/gluALL_Mac.tbl Error:2

Do you accidently do anything to StarDat or BrooDat? If not, you could do what it says and try reinstalling Starcraft.

I wish i can reinstall but i have lost the code number for brood war and the orgnial starcraft and i lost the orjinal starcraft. Does this mean i can never play starcraft again

If no one can find a solution for you, you can always spend the ten dollars to buy it.

Have you checked StarDat and BrooDat to see if the file is there? If you PM IanMM he might be able to send you that file. (He's on a Mac.)

There is no code number for brood war and its called a CD Key.
And yes Pie_Sniper is right you require the broodat file and or storm.dll for mac.

I dont see how you can install a mod. If your using Mpqdraft to load it should have a box beside the mpq when selected and it should be checked. Theres no way a mod can replace the whole of starcraft.

Well, apparently you can grab the CD key from memory when you connect to Battle.net.

It's also stored as a hash in StarDat somewhere, I think.

And yes, there are a few mods that you install and that replace Starcraft.

I think maybe he grabbed one of those quite old mods where you used directory-emulation to apply the modding, instead of archives, but it beats me where can you find one of those years-oldies nowadays...

No he's on a mac. MPQDraft doesn't work for makes. What file did you edit/replace?

I think he/she tried to run a old mod that requires it being installed over a original starcraft directory.

Sorry to tell you this, but the only way to fix it is to reinstall StarCraft.

P.S. I think MPQDraft works for macs, you just have to use the special version made for it.

It does not work I've tryed it. Macks have to install mods it' a pain.
