I'm trying to become skilled at melee, so I decided to post a replay of me playing melee. I'm a protoss player. The map played was KK's Deadly Twist. There is in game text shown.
BTW, my original plan was to build stargates in the top right and just fly men into his base straight from there.
Eh, .rar? I'll have to play you to see how bad you are.
Just practise, practise and practise some more.
Fine, it's in .ZIP, and you said you didn't want to play me before. Make up your mind![attachmentid=21263]
Besides, WinRAR is better than WinZIP.
That's only because I was playing DEFCON with voy <<
1) Get a Pylon and Gateway faster. I build Pylon at seventh Probe and Gateway with the eighth.
2) Be able to pay more attention to your units. I noticed Probes sitting around for quite a while at various points...this is not a winning strategy.
3) Build units as quickly as possible unless you need the resources for expansion or teching. 500 minerals in the bank at less than fifteen minutes into the game tells me that you're not managing resources too well. Don't let your unit production buildings sit idle if you can help it.
4) Watch the
SEN 2005 Summer Tournament replays for pointers--they taught me a bunch about how to play quickly.
About the factory idle and and unit idle, it's cause I suck at multi tasking. You'll notice that when I'm looking at stuff I'm scouting, I never look back at my base.
If you know the problem... why aren't you fixing it?
It's a habit problem. It's not something you can do away with instantly.
It was corrupt for me. If you get another game sometime you can post another, was there a new update out recently?
Some of the replays are ok in that pack, I would watch the ones with blind or shakespeare.
As protoss, get a pylon at 8, then get a gate while continuously building workers. I usually get a few zeals and goons either cannons or obs (depending on how offensive ill be) for detectors and templars are very effective. Youll learn, its hard for me to tell you much else without seeing what you did. So good luck and watch replays, keep us updated in this topic as well.

But it is something you should be focused on. Otherwise, the habit will only get stronger.
Ok since I don't play starcraft much anymore I'll just tell you this. Don't stop producing probes. I'd have to watch it to figure out much more. I can say this though, stargates cost alot to keep up
. You could always try making 4-5 shuttles and dropping them in his base if you want to air attack him.
well he beat me i was quite shocked. Im not amazing but not too many people can beat me, i noticed you could of played better too same here but like you said habits hold me back too. also you can never have too many workers
Well, the only reason I beat you was because of your insane stupidity. First you basically let me eat up that hatchery, then you let me rape the force you sent to kill me, and then you lead me to your base.
lol thnx, im pretty sure i can beat you given another chance and me being up to it
Wanna face me? Find me Koltz@useast or Koltz@uswest
I'll EZ any of you
PM me to challange
who was gonna ez ppl?
I havent played in weeks.
If I win, I win. If I lose, I get to learn. PM me.
I wish I could. I'm stuck with the same problems that Sie has mentioned in WTF.
You wanna play on Podolsk?
Try not to quote alot and just say "good advice".
Just finished playing a game, and I do think I did pretty well. It was a PT vs. TZ , with me as the P. We won after the Z player left because he basically had nothing left, and then his partner left. Even though I did run out of minerals in the last 2 minutes of the game, I think I did pretty good.
