Ok ok, on a more serious note, an idea for a Sniper powerup is this:
When a player has a Shield powerup (something to absorb damage), create a unit that resembles the shield powerup and make it move to or follow the Sniper (If you want it to follow, it'd have to be fast enough. Like a Shuttle or a probe...maybe not a probe.) When the Sniper has this powerup, he will be invincible while the shield takes the shots. Then when it dies, the Sniper becomes vulnerable and can have his head blown off like a soup can in a microwave
