Or two or three or four.
Well around here, I'd say those groups compose more like 90% of the student body.

Well 90% of males and 65% of females.

Our 'emo' and 'goth' population is so high it would make your head spin, your clothes turn black and your wrists bleed. tongue.gif

15-16 is a good age, but you cant really put an age on it. It is more of a maturity thing, and some people are very mature at the age of 12 and others arent till they are 18 or 19. Everyone has boyfriends and girlfriends when they ar younger like, 6 to 12 I didnt get a serious girlfriend till last year and I am still with her and I am 16.

I honestly think there is nothing good coming from relationships when you are 14 or below... even still, 15, 16...? Only if you and your partner is mature enough, but even then... they usually aren't very good...

I am begining to dislike the idea of girlfriend, I prefer simply being good friends with many women. Once you select one over the others they have ways of making you regret it.

15 and up basically. Anything younger is just weird. This is a time when girls become good looking anyways. Haveing a young relationship like that, you don't do anything and it's pointless.

Heh I get what you mean by "Serious Relationships" but I dont get much of "maturity leaps" or anything like that.

ADDITION:
and whoa would you look at that fourteen-fifteen is winning,

14~15 is good age to get a girlfriend, and maybe last it for years and years. I don't like the idea of moving from a girl to another girl.

There is no age.

Well, you got to think for a second. Dating is not something you just do for fun, or... for no reason at all. Dating has a purpose and that is to try and find the person who you plan on marrying, and staying with, for the rest of your life. I don't honestly believe that below the age of 16 that you are truly pursuing a spouse. If you do, feel free to combat what I said.

I don't date to find "the one". I'm not Morpheus...

I date for the hell of it all the time.

I would say 20-25, Or above 24. That way, you get to spend time with your girl friend and not interfere with your school work. Its also good for you because you can actually learn more.

Combatting?

You just can't stick an age on when a child will come to maturity.

Yeah, everyone is different and even though some people go through puberty, they still havent lost their immaturity.

Yeah, that's a really common misconception among teens. Entering purberty means you mature physically, but body hair or other physical changes brought on by puberty are in no means evidence of mental and emotional maturity.

And if 'the one' comes along it's a kind of added bonus?

Would you be able to give up your dating mentality for someone you really liked?

14-15 to me is a reasonable age, even though I'm 16 and I still dont date it seems just like a time to try out life for other people(since I missed it, oh well).

Haha I feel left out now tongue.gif

No one will be perfect for you. You'll have to make it perfect for yourself.
But really, who'd want to date the most imperfect girl ever?
I wouldn't date a girl if the girl had a really bad manner, and selfish.

Well, of course. I believed in that kind of stuff when I was 14 or 15, and I guess that belief's not totally gone, I just don't focus on that anymore. I've met a couple of girls I could've stayed with for a long time, but such things are never so easily decided, are they? Also, if I date a girl and I commit to a relationship, I won't date anyone else. The trick is getting me to commit. tongue.gif

Here's the best answer to this poll, whenever somebody hits puberty.

not exactly, some guys that are very horny seem to want to get girls before this special time hits, lol. One of my friends tried getting with an 18 year old while he was in 5th grade.

In my opinion, age is not the factor. The real way to tell if someone is old enough to have a boy/girlfriend is maturity. Are both people mature enough to have a relationship? If yes: go for it... If no: don't. That simple. An 18 year-old may not have the maturity to have a serious relationship so, he shouldn't (though I doubt he will). On the other hand, a ten year old could be mature enough for a relationship but, he probably won't find someone else his age like that.

I'd say somewhere between 15 and 16.
