This is my new idea... big monthly staff discussion/board meeting/brainstorm/whatever topic (expect MUCH bigger discussion on v5, since we might be releasing it "soon"). In v5 I plan on there being a function where I can just mass notice all the staff at once without typing in names or anything (ie, I'm lazy so this will make me do it).

Also, I'd appreciate if you guys would still PM members when warning even if it's a verbal warning. Not required, but nice to do (especially if fines are incurred).
DLDB
Thanks for the good work on beating down the buildup. Sadly, there's still a buildup that I'd like to alleviate BEFORE the complaints happen. A lot of it appears to be .wavs, but there's a ton of maps. If you can't do your job, step down. If more keepers need to be hired, let me know.
Also, for v5... anyone up for adopting and enforcing higher quality standards on new submissions?

2. I'd like additional moderators on the following forums: Miscellaneous, Serious Discussion, Any of the Creative subforums except Art & Images, Project Graveyard, Staredit Related & Freelancers, Campaigns & Team Projects. If any of you feel you'd want to step up or have a nomination, post.
3. The Ideas forum... should we leave that with no specific moderators, or put some specialized moderators on there? If so, nominations.
4. Any volunteers to just check up on the StarForge and SCMDraft 2 forums on a regular basis? Not many reports come in there. I can just slap Rantent on there if I have to. (Rantent... maybe I should take you off of Misc and place you on those two.)

What thoughts do you guys have on the trends of spam/flame in SEN? Any specific problems, rule changes, things to do? Any other areas that need help?
Otherwise, yes, I know there's a whole other bunch of stuff to be discussed. Focus on this for now, I plan to have talks on a much larger scale once v5 is released.

Too much flaming. Also, I've noticed that I have not gotten a single report since the end of August... I find this unnerving, as I see rules being broken left and right.

- We need more random trends. Keeps the normals on their toes.

Odd, you should be getting them for forums that you're listed as a moderator in. I'll report a dummy post in Terrain.
EDIT: Report function seems to be broken for specialist moderators (though I'm getting reports from every forum for some reason). Seems like another nice reason to speed up v5.

I'm not to much into artwork so my daily basis doesn't include visiting that forum, even though it's rather inactive I would like to shift. Maybe to staredit related, it seems a bit out of control.
PM after warns...
I thought that it auto PMs once we edit warn logs.
Change mod's color to Syphon's hotpink.
Also I think that teamwork should be a subforum in staredit related. It's rather inactive.

1. Please, please, PLEASE don't rush v5. The last thing we need is for us to go to v5 before it is ready. I'd rather wait another six months to have a breathtaking v5. At the bare minimum, v5 should have all the functions, plus bells and whistles, before we switch.
2. While shuffling moderators might be useful, I don't think we have a need for any more at the moment. Unless somone wants to do a case study, I haven't seen a precedent of rulebreaking that would warrant more Staff. Too many cooks spoil the soup; and we a lot on board already. One forum shorthanded? I'd say you should examine expending moderators before hiring new ones.

I agree with the ban Gamma sentiment. He's a trouble making, credit whoring, double accounter that challenges the powers just for the sake of stirring the pot. IMO, he's one of the primary figureheads of that "spam/flame trend" that's been going on lately.

What exactly is so out of control about Misc? Is it all of the stupid games in Poll Booth? My hands have plenty of blood on them for starting that trend (for making Survivor popular, anyway), but if you want us to crack down on the pointless games and polls, that can be done. Otherwise the flaming and spamming in that section doesn't seem too out of control.

Gamma sent me a PM asking to see staff forums, he wants be a moderator one-day. I think i still got PM. Most time i just ignore him and dont care what he says but i got few PM's off him about pointless things.
