Most non-hero zerg computer ground units will automatically burrow if there are no orders given to them.

I would create modified units that can burrow, even if they do burrow on their own.
It might come out handy later. mellow.gif

There's no way to burrow the units on creation without the CUWP action. You can re-use these actions with Starforge or (I think) SCMDraft, or probably some of the other editors around.

Another option is to just use fewer of these actions. Are you sure you need them all? Anything that sets HP, energy, shield, or invincibility state can be done with create units and another action to change the properties.

you can't make any other triggers that makes units burrow other than create unit with properties, but you can just create normal zerg units in a location with burrow ability researched. they will burrow when left idle and unburrow when trigger 'ordered' to move or either an enemy unit runs by it so it can attack it.

Well, if you have burrowing ability researched, all other idle zerg units will also burrow, that could be a problem if he doesn't want them to burrow.

how would they burrow in the first place without the ability researched first unless its a hero unit or a lurker? but there ways around it, where he can trigger 'order' specific units to unburrow.

I thought that hero units won't burrow automatically.

How come you cant use the create units with properties trigger?

theres a limit to the amount of units(64?) you can create with that trigger action
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Heimdal on 2006-10-06 at 13:08:06
Not a unit limit, but a limit of how many times you can use the action, which is 64. More specifically, it's a limit of how many unit properties "slots" you can use, but most editors use one slot for each action, even if the properties are the same.
