I think that most of the editors are starcraft-dependent. I could ask SI what files SCMD2 uses and put them together in a mpq, then you could enable that mpq in SCMD2's options and it will allow you to work with it.

SCMDraft 2 uses the main MPQs, so it wouldn't possible unless you sent him all three MPQs, StarDat.mpq, BrooD.dat mpq, and patch_rt.mpq.

Staredit! the way maps should be made. Plain & dull; nothing special.

...lol a couple years ago when I had to go to my mom's and use her stupid macs, I'd start with Staredit, and later send it to myself and finish. I mean, it's better then nothing.

well, you can take the 3 mpqs, delete all sounds and other unneeded stuff and see how small you get it

That would take some time, and would only be easily done on Brood.mpq and Star.mpq because the Patch has to be left. But yes it is possible, and if i get this internet up on my New Computer within a week, i will put it together and if you still need it i will send it. Yoshi wouldn't be able to hold it, nor anyone legally host it, since it breaks the rules of Blizzard Entertainment...

i think that that is impossible anyway

What are you trying to transport it on? If yougo for a floppy i doubt you can shrink 3 MPQ's to under 2 MB and if you are using anything bigger (ZIP disk or CD-ROM), C:/Program Files/Starcraft is only about 110 MB. happy.gif
