As you might remember here I attempted a mario party map before and it didnt go to well. Now almost a year later with more of the ability to take on a project like this I decide to try it again. I dont have the map anymore tho so ill need to restart it from scratch and this time its going to be Isom terrain on the board smile.gif

Hmm, how many minigames are you going to have in it? I think me and FritFrat wanted to make a Mario Party map but he's been extremely busy. GL

Atleast 30 and than like 5 for bowsers minigames but above 35 depends on how many I think of smile.gif

there wont be more than 5 for bowser tho since its a 1/6th chance youll play it anyway

how about this:

each player commands a Unit A and a near invulnerable marine(w/ stimpack). there are infesteds near constanly being created in the center of the map. the objective is to lure the infesteds using the marine and stimpack to the other players' Unit A, while keeping your own safe. as another feature, have a 'leash' between the two units, so if the player wants to lure infesteds, he'll have to put his own Unit A in danger.

This looks cool. Is there a specific Mario party you're somewhat basing this on? Some Mario Party versions have cooler features than others. I liked the little "orb" things in 6 (or was it 5?) a lot.

how about this one... you're surrounded by enemy units(small, like lings or rines). all except one of them is hallucinated and you're trying to find the real one. you're gonna have very little life, so your timer will be your lifebar. you'll find the real one, by running away, causing them to form lines, so only one of them will attack you at once and then use a process of elimination to find the real enemy.

Oh, in dat case. Make bomb-omb Madnness! You have to try to keep 20 Bomb-omb alive and keep other players from getting more by using ur own bomb-omb to kill it biggrin.gif

i've got another idea. its follows the exact same format as defense(units run from one side to another. only this time, you're trying to ensure that the units make it. the path would be very windy and ununiform throughout the whole thing. there would be units on the sides of the path trying to kill the units. you, with a defiler, has to darkswarm and protect as many of the units as possible. darkswarm wouldn't be unlimited, so you'd have to be very choosey about where you put it. the player who saves the most units wins.

the opposite of that would work just as well. you'd have a corsair with limited disruption web, and you'd have to use to slow down units on the path so they'll be killed.

Hmm each time I try to think of old Mario Party minigames for ya, I'm only reminded of MP7 games (since that's the last one I played). There was one where boxes would go down a conveyor belt 1-by-1. And at the head of the belt was an x-ray so you could see the next unit coming down. Basically you had to open the boxes with coins, trying t avoid the ones with Bomb-ombs.

You could easily replicate that with cloaked units going downa track and you have to like Maelstrom only the Infested Kerrigans or something. If you Mael anything else, you lose all your energy for a second or two.

Another one was where each player would have 5 seconds to press a button on a controller. The only person (or perhaps two people) to push one that no one else chose moves up a space. If all four players pressed unique buttons, everyone moves up. The first player to move 5 spaces wins. This one would be a bit harder to trigger, but it can be done.
