This is a map, that I just started, It starts out with the Terran base. you get Hero to protect ( haven't done the defeat when hero die part yet) and you get reinforcements at Location A (if you find it), but if Zerg gets there, your reinforcements die...(don't know if the two triggers work properly). Other than that, I guess, just want people to give me suggestions...

Zerg Attack is already a series of maps done by Tazzy. You might want to think about a new name.

I remember my first map... It was nothing but dirt terrain, and in the middle was high dirt terrain with a power generator on top. I placed an assload of comps near it, and in order to win you had to kill it, simple enough...

Thanks alot Moose, Gotta check titles next time when I am creating maps, or you people can tell me whenever a title is used.
First maps are always the hardest to finish. Seems as though you're being sidetracked away from creating and finishing the map.

Zerg Attack seems to be lacking anyhow, no offence to Tazzy from days long gone! Maybe have a storyline? (I know this is your first try, but just having a storyline can enable a weak trigger based map to really improve).

Try and have a plot which isn't completely predictable, or have things to do rather than just all done by the player, and them moving around shooting things. Maybe have it so that if they go to far out attacking the Zerg, the Zerg can sneak past, or even weaken your "Hero" and maybe have it so that he provides something to units once they are outside, or just gives you a slow amount of money to spend on upgrades, and you use units to really get those Zerg.

I'll think about that Cokos, but you're right, gotta add some unpredictable elements into the storyline. So far, I've only done about 3% of the map so I got alot more to work on...

None Taken, I have not had time to be making maps these days, Ive been to busy with work, and my website. So Sc is on the last of my list.

Also, I ask nicly Gowr that you do change the name from Zerg attack please To something else please happy.gif

But im getting some time off for 1 week in a weeks time, Ive allready set the time for my Zerg attack maps. smile.gif

That made as little sense as my comment before. The name should just either state the purpose of the map, make some atmostphere for the game, and give a clear message on the style of it.

The Zerg don't attack because I haven't really worked much on the triggers yet...
