You were warned because that was a basically inappropriate joke in a serious discussion, so it was considered spam.

Now that I take a look at it, you're somewhat right. There are a few other posts that are pretty bad in there. Some of them look like spam at first but acronyms can be funny like that.

I think its because a lot of their jokes actually refer to the topic in some way. Like there are tons of acronyms in there for the purpose of remembering the planets in the solar system. Though they may seem random and spammy, they do have some spec of relevance.

Your joke about a Disney character, on the other hand, does not.

If you ask me that is wrong but I havn't been asked to be a mod for a reason so obviously my brain is screwed up to not abide by the rules. Oh well free will's a *****

I don't see anyone making jokes. Your's was just spam. And besides, you're supposed to challenge warns through PMs, not topics in website feedback.

There have indeed been some pure spam responses in that topic and others that people weren't warned for (I'm sure some were though, you have no way of knowing). Did you look at the link I gave you? Its best to keep this in PMs.

To me, "DOSE BIZZITCHESS TOOK AWAY DAH PIZZAS!!!!" isn't very productive, either. Yet I assume Pyro didn't get a warning for it. Then again, his was funny to me. The Disney joke is just old.

And as an added bit of trivia, there was so much hype about the discovery of Pluto at the time Walt Disney made that famous dog character of his, and that's why he's named Pluto. Though that's probably common knowledge by now...

Pyro was lucky he wasn't warned for that. I've warned him for spamming before and if I'd been a mod at the time, I probably would've warned him for it. Just because someone was lucky enough to get away with it in the past doesn't make it okay to do it now.

So you can't just theoretically warn him now for it? I mean I can understand if someone posted some spammy response months ago and got away with it. But Pyro's post wasn't made that long ago.

The others made jokes, no one warned them, why only me? And that's not spam, that's a joke like everyone made, if you gonna warn me then you will need to warm everyone that made a joke.

He just said that if he was a Moderator back when Pyro posted that, he would have been warned, too. It seems unfair to you because he is a Mod now and you didn't get away with it. But supposing Pyro posted that right after you, he would have been given a warning, too.

after I posted something and he had just gotten moderation of the Games forums. Funny thing was I got it for making fun of Kingdom Hearts(a game) which is pretty sad.

No, you spammed and a mod caught you. DTBK, Kaboomhahahein, CaptainWill, and Revelade should've warned him. Doodan could've warned him if he was a mod when that was posted.

Look at my earlier post. I was asking why he can't just go warn Pyro for something he posted a month ago. I think its justified to warn someone for an un-warned spammy post they made a month earlier. Anything over a month should get a verbal warning.

Something like "The next time you post like this, accidents will happen. You'll be out driving one day and you may get a little bumb. The next day, the bumb ay be bigger. Maybe the car will be totalled. And that same accident may happen weekly. Just think about it." seems like a good verbal warning to me (sorry, I just watched the special features on The Break-Up and Jon Favreau went on this whole tangent about "accidents").
