So now once again after reading the entry at IDEAD world I was thinking of installing beta on my comp. I have the SC beta rar in my documents but I was thinking will starcraft beta corrupt any starcraft files of mine or any thing starcraft related.

I also read the legal agreements were they say its your responsiblite if it does harm your computer or not. So as anyone here on SEN installed beta and got it to work?

Almost every legal agreement i've read has something similar to that in it. (when it's to do with using products.)
It shouldn't corrupt any sc files just install it in a different directory.

It's DEAD world. 
Just install it in another directory. I found out that lots of SC sites have been linking to that russian site after I posted the original topic. Also they have developed a program that allows to run SC beta on normal B.net and play with other SC beta players.
Of course the credit for finding this russian site is given to some other guy who run across either SEN or DW topic. I don't care about that much, though.

No, I'm looking for the tutorial that tec27 posted about setting up starcraft beta so I'll know how to install it.

Install it like you installed SC. I don't think installing games should have tutorials unless your really dumb. Tec wrote a tutorial how to set up your own SC beta server and how to hex edit gateways in SC beta. But the problem has been solved already.
