What happens when an unstoppable force hits an imoveable object?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Shmeeps on 2004-08-08 at 01:19:32
Well, I don't think either exist really, but my guess would be they would like implode and make a black hole. Lol, I dunno.

I think that they would just stop. but if it cant be stoped it woudl go around? lol i dunno

there is no such thing as unstoppable..if it is, then it is also imovable (<--- is this a word?). and thus, it could have never started moving in the first place

It goes through it. tongue.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by High on 2004-08-08 at 02:12:18
but how can it, i would have to move somehow
Report, edit, etc...Posted by StealthyDeath on 2004-08-08 at 02:17:54
If it's is both unstoppable and immovable it will just go through it without it ever moving. It's more of a logical question, since it's impossible to reenact it. But if you put impenetrable into it, then there really wouldn't be an answer.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by mobomojo on 2004-08-08 at 02:25:24
That is to assume that the unstoppable force and the immovable object are in fact moving.

ouchy my head hurts
Report, edit, etc...Posted by StealthyDeath on 2004-08-08 at 02:38:07
Well the unstoppable force has to be moving because it hit the object.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by (U)Bolt_Head on 2004-08-08 at 03:57:13
The unstoppable force changes it’s bounces off. For every action there is a equal and opposite reaction. The unstoppable force hits the unmovable force so the opposite reaction is for the direction to change.

lol censored.gif Bolt, that acually makes sence

Good job (U)Bolt_Head, thats the exact answer i was looking for.
The imovable object dosent move, and the unstoppable force dosent stop, it gets deflected. ;D
Report, edit, etc...Posted by StealthyDeath on 2004-08-08 at 05:51:01
That actually is a good answer compared to mine.

Wait, wait, wait, ......so this was really a riddle. Man, I would've actually tried if I'd known that tongue.gif

It started because it is unstoppable so how could the rules of physics work on it, no
friction would slow it down. Simple, it was always moving.

This is my 1000th Post, what a sucky post...

it couldnt' have always been moving. there must always be something that made it move.

Light, my friend is that unstopabble object that never started but never finishes.

Light can only go so far. If you lit a candle at point A, it wouldn't illuminate point B if it's 10 miles away. Else, the entire universe would just be one massive white space. tongue.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2004-08-08 at 15:47:58
I'd have to disagree Moose.
The light does reach point B. Only it's so dim by the time it gets there your eyes can't detect it.

That is asuming the light didn't bounce of or reflect of something that was in the way.
