I wanted to upload my newest map to the database, so naturally I read the guidelines on the page, fill out all required fields, select the map file from my maps folder, and try to upload it.

The file could not be uploaded!

I just got pwnd.

No; starcraft is not running
No; starforge is not running
No; the map isn't open or in use
Yes; I filled in all required fields

please help.

Is the map saved as a .scx or .scm? Make sure that it is. Or maybe it is too big? What is the size of the file? Did you use the browse button?

The map file is saved as .scx
The map file is 268KB on disk

okay, then both of those fit, what does it sy, does a window pop up or what.
Actually SEN may be having some trouble with the DLDB right now, ever since the new host is being used we have had troubles, maybe IP or Mini Moose know this.

I'm pretty sure the DLDB is down right now, I could be wrong though. Moose or IP can answer your question.

Since all maps have to be screened by some kind of moderators, prehaps I could simply give my map to one of them along with the description text, and then they could manually add it to the database?

If and when this problem gets fixed, it will be announced. Until then, uploads to the DLDB are down and screaming about it won't do any good.
