That does not allow buildings:
I have a data disk, and I added a bunch of unit buttons into it, how do I get it to actually build the unit? (Like make the unit come out of nowhere) Because if I click on the marine button a few times, the building que will be full but no units would come out.
How do I get the progress bar to appear? (The green little bars, like when a marine is in progress in a barrack, you see the little green bars showing the percentage complete.

For the second one you change the 'Star Bars' of the data disk to:
Popup FN: unk3
Display FN: unk2
That woul do the job I guess.

For the first one, Check if you edited the requirements for the units.
In the unit requirement tab you should change the Reqs of the desired units to e able to be built from the data disk.
