The Phoenix is definately on the top of my list. I've seen animations where its fiery glow everytime it flaps its wings make sunsets look like dying embers, and who would not want the ability to be reincarnated from your own dying ashes?

all of those creatures on the list actually do exists but of those i choose the creature other because of its ability to be any animal but those listed.

Dragon of course. And why do you say mythical? Just like the 4 mythical elements, earth, water, fire and water, dragons exist. As do phoenixes. And griffins/gryphons. And krakens. Pegasus's don't exist. And extremely large mythical penis's from space exist.

Phoenix's can die under certain conditions. Like the ashes being buried underground. Or if doused with water before/after death of phoenix. I know this mythical stuff

I like the Kraken, it would have been my third choice, but they're too boring. None of the books I read labeled them as social/sentient creatures, which in turn makes them boring. When reading books about dragons, on the other hand, you constantly get references to sentience, often considerably more intelligent then humans (Dragons FTW!). Kraken? Same as an elephant. Big and stupid.

Stupid pokemon. I mean, a walking turtle with cannons sticking out from under their shells? NO. Charizard or Lugia or Dragonite or Rayquaza or Groudon or something like that, for example..
