I've always liked the idea of WoodenFire's Terrain Ladder (http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=25566), and have thought about setting up something similar in the Modding forums with my newfound minerals. I'm wondering what you guys think about that idea.
Mods are much more complex than terrain.
I think not...mods take so long to make, and you'd have to be constantly modding if you hoped to stay on top because of that. With terrain, you can terrain for a couple days, send it in, and then slack off for a while, but you can't really do that with mods.
It's possible, we could have a ladder of cool Iscript abilities or custom spells. ANd it can be graded on a small rubric.
You could probably have a ladder for each aspect of modding, but not modding altogether.
NO WAI! ladders suck! specially wooden's j/k
Actually... you can't just grade "cool iscripts" or "custom spells" or "custom graphics" and we all know you can't grade memgraft changes.. because.. it's just weird , my point is that having a modding ladder would mean qualifying changes (in general) but say.. for just 1 unit or something like it. not just "coo......(what i said before)..." YA WAI! ladders pwn!
I like that idea pretty much. Although I don't think I would participate since I'm not really active.
Still, I have the right to say what I think!
Ide participate in cool spells/ weapon affects so dat/iscript things
