Staredit Network -> Modding Assistance -> [SOLVED] Increasing Unit Sizes?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SubFocus on 2006-10-31 at 03:12:11
Hey, I replaced the .grp of a Wraith with something larger... Now I want to modify the actual dimensions of the unit to fit the new .grp. I just don't know how. I've looked through Aresnal III, but I can't find it anywhere.

SOLVED

Arsenal 3 is dead corpse. Use DatEdit - http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopi...ndpost&p=579746

(nothing like self-advertisement tongue.gif)

EDIT:Unit dimensions doesn't matter for the air units, btw

But I think what you want is the green selection circle to fit right?
Firstly Use DatEdit (yay bk) then go to.. sprites and select the unit you want and change the selection circle as desired.
Other than that you can change the unit dimensions in the graphics tabs. DatEdit is really simple to use tongue.gif

Actually, it matters alot. For triggers, and it looks ridiculous when my oversized wraith replacements practically have to fly closer than they should have to in order to attack. It just generally looks better all around.

Anyways, I figured it out last night lol but I was too tired to post before going to sleep. It was just a matter of changing the select circle sizes in the images.dat, like Corbo said.

So yeah, you mod boys can lock this one up now I guess.
