Hello everyone, well while I was playing a mod(I think it was midnight terrans), but the marine had two different weapon icons with the armor(like a unit that uses one for ground, the other for air), one was called Stinger Rifle and the other used the longbolt missile icon, and every 4th shot the marine fired, he fired a missile instead, how was that achieved? The firebat in the mod used sarah kerigan instead of firebat sprites and carried a doulbe barreled shotgun, every 5 shots she used a frag grenade(a vulture grenade) instead of the shotgun.

I'd really like to find out how this was done, so I can add an underslung grenade launcher to a gun in a mod I'm concepting(and definatly will finish tongue.gif )

It was done by making a modification to the attack animation in iscript.bin for those units. Probably some type of random jump was put in, and the place it would randomly jump to would use the other weapon (the script for the animation can specify whether to use the ground or air attack or any weapon you want).

Go get IceCC if you haven't already and then you can do all sorts of effects with it by modifying the animation script in iscript.bin. smile.gif BTW, I would recommend downloading the one labeled "IceCC Fix" that is in the downloads section on this site rather than the older version that is available.
